Theatre: Every since I was young I developed a passion for theater and performance, I would make shows for my family and expected them to watch carefully. Also, I had always wanted to join the shows, but because of social pressure, I didn't. It all changed when I joined my school's production of "A Midsummer Nights Dream," this may sound exaggerating but it isn't, but this production changed my life. Ever since that show I have director shows, such as "Elevator" (a short play I wrote and directed), and "Números Reales" (a play about a father who gets obsessed with building a telescope, and little by little his life gets destroyed). I have also been working on my acting skills, playing roles on shows like Footloose (a musical about a city boy that moves to a small town), and Medea (a tragedy that tells the story of a wife's desire for revenge against her unfaithful husband).
Film: Ever since I was born, filmmaking has also been a huge part of me and who I am. I can say this because most of my earliest memories have been involving film. For example, when I was younger I used to go every Sunday to the movies and was always attracted to this world, and when I got the opportunity to try it out with my short film, Gladys, I got amazed by how brilliant this world can be. Don't have a lot of experience in this area but oddly enough is the one that I'm most passionate about, I could spend days talking about my favorite movies and how each scene was purposeful to accomplish the end goal.
Grow in other artistic fields: Based on the work and commitment that I show when talking about theater and film I can say that I'm somewhat good at it, that's why I want to improve on two other art forms; visual arts and music.
To improve on visual art, I've been working on my graphic design skills. During my July break, I always found myself playing with the iPhone application, Adobe Illustrator Draw. Here I began doing outlines of pictures that I liked. These are a few that I worked on:
Tom Holland from Spiderman: Homecoming
Become a more responsible student: Personally, the organizational aspect of school has been something that I've always struggled with, and I've made it one of my main objectives for this semester to improve on it. To accomplish this, I've bought an agenda that will serve to remind me of everything I have to do as soon as I get home. I'll also write everything as a reminder on my phone so that every time I get home, I get reminded that I have to finish my Spanish essay or study for my math test.
